Born June 5th, 2018, this little guy, Giovanni (aka Mickey) is a farm favorite with his fuzzy ears and playful life style. He’s known to us handlers, as the great escape artist and when he’s out, he prances like a gazelle on a mission. Mickey has the most beautiful rich soft dark brown fleece that is extremely fine and uniform. It has a very nice staple and is a high frequency crimp. . He has an amazing phenotype for his small stature as a young adult with an overall pleasing and appreciating look. He loves people and does not hesitate to come up to the fence to meet and greet.
You can frequently find Mickey playing with the chickens, jumping in the air and running like the wind in his field. He is a true joy to work with and he loves being fed from your hand
Mickey came to us from Connecticut under a rehoming situation along with mom Tiegan. His dad was unknown initially with the potential of three males who were part of the group being rehomed. During Mickeys registration process, DNA testing was completed and it was determined that Legacy was dad. He was separated from mom during this rehoming transition and has fared extremely well. He free ranges today with his dad and is a happy alpaca.
